- Click Channels → Email. Click here
- Click Add.
- In the Connect Email window, Click Next → Outlook 365 → Sign in with Microsoft.

- In the Connect Email window, click Next → close.
Note:Changing your account's password will disconnect the account from Glassix and require reconnection.
Glassix Office 365 Integration: Admin Consent Guide
When connecting Glassix to your Office 365 environment, you may encounter a Microsoft notification stating: "Admin approval required.". This guide explains why this happens and provides two methods to authorize the integration so your team can manage email and calendars directly within Glassix.
Why is this approval required?
This message appears during the first-time setup, when adding a new mailbox, or after a long period of inactivity. It signifies that the Glassix application needs specific permissions—such as reading/sending emails and accessing calendars—which only a Global Administrator can grant for your organization.
**Method 1: Direct Connection (via Global Admin Login) **
This is the fastest method, where the Global Administrator logs in directly to authorize the department in Glassix.
1 - Access the Authorization Screen: The administrator should click the "Sign in to grant admin consent" link in the Glassix setup window.
2 - Sign In: Log in using credentials with Global Administrator privileges.
3 - Review Permissions: A list of requested permissions will appear for the Glassix Office 365 Integration. This includes reading/sending mail, calendar access, and reading user profile details.
4 - Grant Consent: Ensure all permission checkboxes are selected.
- Crucial Step: Check the box "Consent on behalf of your organization".
- Click Accept
Once complete, permissions are granted automatically to all users, and the prompt will not reappear.
Method 2: Admin Consent Requests (No Admin Presence Required)
This method is recommended for organizations that prefer to separate administrative permissions from daily user presence within a Glassix department.
Step 1: Enable Consent Requests in Azure
1 - Log into the Microsoft Entra admin center.
2 - Navigate to Enterprise applications > Consent and permissions > Admin consent settings.
3 - Set "Users can request admin consent to apps they are unable to consent to" to Yes.
4 - Add a designated administrator under "Who can review admin consent requests" and save.
Step 2: Create and Approve the Request
1 - Request: A standard user attempts to connect the integration in Glassix. When the "Approval required" message appears, they submit a request, which is sent automatically to M365 Entra.
2 - Review: The administrator logs into the Microsoft Entra admin center and goes to Enterprise applications > Admin consent requests.
3 - Approve: Find the "Pending" request for Glassix Office 365 Integration and approve it.
