Add Forwarding Email Account

Overview

Connecting your email address to Glassix helps you consolidate all of your work into one place.
This connection is especially beneficial for businesses that manage their email servers. Connecting your existing account to Glassix prevents the need to change your contact information and keep your previous connections with your customers.

Connect a Domain

  1. Go to Settings.

    Click on the symbol in the agent dashboard.

  2. Click ChannelsEmail. Click here
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Connect Email window, Click NextForwardingConnect a domainConfirm.
  5. In the Connect Domain window, Click Next.
  6. In the Domain text box, enter your domain's name.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Download the DNS records and send them to the customer to set on their servers.

Tip:

To save the records without validation, click I'll do this laterNextClose.

To return to the validation screen, click on the X mark by your domain's name.

Note:

The customer needs to set these records so that emails sent by us using their domain won't be flagged as SPAM.

  1. Click Verify RecordsClose.

Note:

If the verification was unsucceful check the records on your server again.

You can use this Website to validate your records.

Connect an Email Address

  1. Go to Settings.

    Click on the symbol in the agent dashboard.

  2. Click ChannelsEmail. Click here
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Connect Email window, Click NextForwardingConnect a domain.
  5. In the Connect window, select your domain from the drop-down.
  6. In the Email address text box, enter your email address.
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Pin Code text box, enter the verification code sent to your email address.
  9. In the Confirm window, copy the Forwarding address and send it to the customer.

Note:

All messages in the Inbox folder need to be forwarded to this address

  1. Click Test forwardingNextClose.

If forwarding test failed re-check your forwarding settings and that all emails reach your inbox.
