Overview

Sometimes customers want to contact you or get your attention via Instagram posts, comments, and messages.
Managing all these interactions from Instagram can be cumbersome and difficult.
In this article, we'll review how to connect your Instagram user and Instagram Direct to your Glassix Department.

Connect Instagram User

1. Go to Settings.

   Click on the symbol in the agent dashboard.

2. Click Channels → Instagram. Click here
3. Click Add.
4. In the Connect Instagram window, Click Next → LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK.
5. In the Pop-Up, click on Continue as or Log in to another account.

   If the page was previously connected to Glassix, click on Edit settings.

6. In the Instagram Business Accounts section, click on Select all → Next.

   Your Instagram account must be connected to your Facebook. Learn how to connect your Instagram to your Facebook here.

7. In the Instagram Business Accounts section, click on Select all → Next.

Note:

You must select all Instagram and Facebook pages you can access, not only those you wish to connect to. Only pages you connect will be accessed.

8. In the permissions section, make sure all the permissions are enabled → click Done → OK.
9. In the Choose Page section, select the page you want to connect to your department → click Next.
10. In the Confirm section, choose if you want to connect your Instagram Direct to the department → click Next → Close.

Success:

Your Instagram User is now connected to your Glassix Department.

Connect Instagram Direct

1. Go to Settings.

   Click on the symbol in the agent dashboard.

2. Click Channels → Instagram Direct. Click here
3. Click Add.
4. In the Connect Instagram Direct window, Click Next → LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK.
5. In the Pop-Up, click on Continue as or Log in to another account.

   If the page was previously connected to Glassix, click on Edit settings.

6. In the Instagram Business Accounts section, click on Select all → Next.

   If your Instagram account isn't connected to your Facebook, you can still connect the Facebook page to Glassix. Learn how to connect your Instagram to your Facebook here.

7. In the Instagram Business Accounts section, click on Select all → Next.

Note:

You must select all Instagram and Facebook pages you can access, not only those you wish to connect to. Only pages you connect will be accessed.

8. In the permissions section, make sure all the permissions are enabled → click Done → OK.
9. In the Choose Page section, select the page you want to connect to your department → click Next.
10. In the Confirm section, choose if you want to connect your Instagram Feed to the department → click Next → Close.

Your Instagram Direct is now connected to your Glassix Department.
